Or white…
or yellow
Or turquoise …
Or even red!
Can you tell that I LOVE COLOR!
Thought you would like to see some of the furniture that I have played with. I say ‘played with’ because, except for the Hoosier, all these pieces were beat up hand me downs or thrift store finds. On each piece, I tried a fun new technique. From distressing and wet sanding to raised stenciling and glazing, all these techniques produce it’s own unique effect. I’ll get into the details of each in later posts, if you like. For now, you can enjoy all the color.
I love changing the look of something with color!!! The turquoise was the scariest and most fun. What color should I try next? What colors do you like? Have you tried any fun painting techniques? I’d love to see them.
And FYI, I do keep some things it’s natural wood color…
Have fun imagining and creating.. Until next time… Keep it colorful!
