Our Bathroom Reveal… Finally

This bathroom has been a long time coming. It actually started 3 years ago with the purchase of an antique dresser, bowl and pitcher. We dreamed we could turn these into a bathroom vanity and sink. And that was the beginning!

Next, we redefined the space. We took a little space from the adjacent bedroom and some space from the hallway. We used what was the linen closet as part of the shower and turned a very steep and awkward set of steps to the attic into a built-in linen closet. Found some fun tile and bead board and started to re-assemble.

We had a few bumps and previously unknown obstacles to contend with. My husband discovered how particular I am with detail and I discovered that, besides knowing how to do almost everything, he has a lot of patience.

So, are you ready for the final reveal? Yeah? Cool! Here it is…

Finally done, well, almost. Still have to do the radiator cover and some caulking. But you didn’t need to know that…

A little information that Is worth adding… below is one of the many boards that were signed by our wedding guest and used in the reconstruction of the house. (more on that in a future article about our backyard wedding) This one is part of the shower walls. Thanks Louisa! Keepin’ it clean!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. And remember, Keep it Beautiful!
